JENNIFER THE PET GROOMER 

Hello there, I’m Jennifer the pet groomer.  At least that’s what my grooming clients are used to hearing.  My brick & mortar salon Prestige Pet Grooming has been open for 20 years and I have learned so much more than I even realized I needed to know.  After swearing off training people, I finally caved in and trained a family friend who I had seen grow up.  And boy was she a go-getter.  So I trained the next person - not so lucky.  And down the line I went…. (you guessed it, learning more than I ever realized that I would need to know).  

With repeated wins and fails at training staff from the ground up, I started to create a protocol for all this training.  Light bulb moment …. There’s a LOT of other business owners that are training their staff , or should be and I can help them.  This led me to creating  Pet Pursuits.   Currently a solopreneur, I spend most if not all my spare time on this and have created everything from scratch without outsourcing.  Just the videos need lighting, equipment and software and the time to script, create, and edit.  I am constantly evolving as is Pet Pursuits and am looking forward to being able to start outsourcing some of the tasks.  First on the list is the website pages & links so we can connect with people.  And the videos definitely need a professional touch.  ( I’m a groomer, not a videographer!) 

 As a young child it was instilled in me to learn something new everyday so you can see that  I HAVE TO grow.  And what better way to do this than helping my fellow business owners in their success.  I believe with a passion that so many people will  benefit from this program and I’m excited to get this out to those who are equally as passionate about growing their knowledge and their businesses.
